For years, I have been in search of the “right” massage therapist for me both at home and abroad. I have found suitable massage therapists locally, but for some reason or another, the client/therapist relationship ended. In my search, I have asked myself, “How could my experiences benefit other therapists as wellas our clients?” The answer finally came to me: I can be the advocate for practitioners and for clients. I can help them choose the right therapist/client arrangement for the right reasons.
A bit about who I am…
My name is Terri Freed and I’m a licensed massage therapist (LMT). My certifications and education include:
- Graduated The Baltimore School Of Massage
- National Certification and Maryland State License to practice as a massage therapist
- Studied Sacred Contracts with Caroline Myss (3 year program)
- Student and teacher’s assistant for the International Alliance for Healthcare Educators
- Massage therapist full time since 1992
In the past I’ve worked with:
- Baltimore County Board of Education
- Contractual teaching to Maryland National Bank, Baltimore City Social Workers Association, Baltimore County Public Schools, American Lung Association, retirement centers and daycare centers
- Teacher of exercise, aerobics, personal training, smoking cessation, stress management, meditation, chakra balancing, and a yoga class she designed called “Western Style Yoga”.
- Taught and organized an exercise class for Comcast Cable TV 2, entitled “Silver Tone” designed for senior citizens and rehabilitation
- Produced a meditation tape entitled “The Healing Tree”
